What Causes Headache And Abdomen Pain With Diarrhea?

hi I have been ill the past week with tummy ache, headache and diarrhoea and have noticed I have a white stringy, snot like substance in my poo! I suffer from IBS anyway but I am experiencing constant bowel movements and its always making a noise! Please let me know what this white stuff could be

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.
The white stuff is the mucus that is secreted by the large bowel in response to the irritation it has.
Since you are suffering from pain in abdomen, diarrhea and headache for a week and must be suffering from IBS for a long time, the present problem may be due to intestinal infection.
I would advise you the following:
Get the stool tested and blood for CBC, thyroid and other relevant tests as may be advised.
This will tell us about the possible infection and if present can be cured by an appropriate antibiotic, metronidazole and probiotics.
About the IBS, it has specific medications and control of the stress or any psychological problem can cure it.
