What Causes Headache And Dizziness After Increasing Topiramate Dosage?

I have been taking a generic topiramate for a month, slowly increased to 50 2 x a day and now experiencing headaches and dizziness and faintness upon n getting up an nerve tingling it is prescribed for migraines. what do you recommend ? Thank you in advance.

Hi,

It may not be the medicine Topiramate can cause your symptoms of fainting, dizziness, headache. But these symptoms can be due to something else and cerebral pathology needs to be ruled out. If the Topiramate creates the doubt then for migraine Ergot combination can be used but prior to this underlying cause of symptoms needs to be found out.
