What Causes Headache And High BP After Using Gadolinium Contrast Injection?
I had gadolinium contrast injection for an MRI two weeks ago and now I m experiencing headaches, high blood pressure, joint pain at site of injection, mid-back ache/pin prick pain at times, lightheadedness, and metallic taste. Based on this I suspect that I still have gadolinium in my body. Is IV or oral chelation helpful for this? Is there anything else that may help?

The symptoms are unlikely to be related to contrast. It will not cause late symptoms.
