What Causes Headache And Lethargy After Choking On Food?
Last night a huge bubble of kombucha got trapped in my throat. No air could move in or out but I was choking. It was frightening. My legs gave way as I struggled to focus. My husband broke my fall so I didn't hit anything. I have since had generalised pain in my head and felt very sleepy/lethargic.

Headache and lethargy can happen after a choking episode. It is due to low oxygen tension at the time of choking. Nothing much to worry and it will settle by itself even without treatment.
