What Causes Headache, Liquid Leaking From Anus When Having Strep-A In Urine?
My 4 yr old was in ER last night with fever and headache, she was diagnosed with sinus infection, and UTI. She had no other symptoms, that made me believe that she has sinus infection. They also told me they found strep A in her urine, which was from 1 month ago when she was in there for the flu.... We just found that out last night... We will not no the actual results from her urine for another day or two. She was given antibiotics and ibuprofen.... She is again complaining of a bad headache, and has clear liquid leaking from her anus. No fever, and no other symptoms. should we return to ER wait a little longer??
The symptoms of your son seem to be related to a urinary tract infection. The headache is related to the infection. I suggest to give her Tylenol for the headache. I also suggest to measure regularly the temperature and give her liquids especially cranberry juice. In my opinion there I no need to go immediately at the ER.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
