What Causes Headaches And Abdomen Pains With Vomiting?

my son has had a headache and stomach ache for the last couple of days. last night he puked all over his bed, he puked and than continued to dry heave. he also has had accidents where he has had diariah in his pants. he does not have a fever or has not compalained about feeling un well besides the stomache ache and the head ache. what could this be and what should I do for him?

Hello,

The given symptoms of diarrhea and abdomen pain could be due to viral infection, it is the condition which does not need any treatment because it is the self-limiting condition.

If this is the bacterial infection, then also it may not need any specific treatment if the symptoms are mild but in case of moderate to severe condition really needs antibiotic and the best drug is Ofloxacin with Ornidazole.

Dose need to be adjusted according to the weight and age, one thing is important to take care of hydration.
