What Causes Headaches, Chills, White Spots And Pain In The Ears?
I awoke Monday feeling horrible... very bad headache, chills, sweats, feeling lethargic. Tuesday the headache was better, but I was congested and my neck was stiff (pain every time I turn my head), throat was very sore and I noticed white spots on the back of my throat. Today, every time I swallow or inhale both the right side of my throat and my right ear hurt very badly. I m still congested and my sinuses are bothering me.
As per your query you have headaches, chills, white spots and pain in the ears everytime you swallow . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , but it seems to me that the symptoms occur due to viral infection of upper respiratory track . Sometimes when infection of upper respiratory track left untreated or due to low immunity infection spread to ear through eustachian tube ( Eustachian tube dysfunction ) . I would suggest you to do warm sline gargles and betadine gargles alternative , take steam twice a day and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain . Consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis . Doctor may order throat swab test , viral culture and blood test . Doctor may also examine ear with otoscope to rule out other conditions of ear . Doctor may prescribe anti viral ( acyclovir ) at least for a week along with decongestant , expectorant and anelgesic .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
