What Causes Heart Pains In A Heart Murmur Patient ?

My 6 year old daughter has a heart murmur...was checked out by pedi cardiologist when she was three, but lately she complains her heart hurts. Her heart murmur was ruled "normal" at the early age, but I am wondering what she means when she says her heart hurts now? Should I be concerned?

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Since you have consulted pediatric cardiologist for her murmur and it was said two be normal, no need to worry for major heart diseases for her chest pain.
Some heart murmurs are common in pediatric age group. With age, they will resolve. You have consulted cardiologist for this and nothing found to worrisome.
So her chest pain is not due to murmur or other heart diseases. Chest pain can be due to simple musculoskeletal pain.
Application of warm water pad on affected areas will be helpful.
Don't worry, she will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your daughter. Thanks.
