What Causes Heart Palpitations After Using Cetapin 500mg?

Hello, I m a 23 year old guy from India and an a type 2 diabetic. I m using 1 tab of cetapin 500 and 1000 in the morning and evening everyday.. I ve been having heart palpitations for a week now.. I would like to know if it has anything to do with the drug? If so, what could I do to stop the palpitations? Thanks and regards.

Irregular , fast , pounding heart beat / palpitations can be associated with metformin . 1 TO 10 % of users can feel such symptoms . I would suggest you to inform your Health care providers about it , they will adjust the dosage and will add beta blockers if needed.
