What Causes Heartburn After Eating?

Hello I am 16 years old. Monday I started to get like heartburn everytime I eat. But it started to get worse. I always have like sore pain inbetween my ribs there in the middle.... I can't sleep at night I'm like restless and I keep feeling a bit light headed! Is it serious!

Respected user , hi
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.com
I have evaluated your query thoroughly .

* This is most probably due to acute gastritis .
* It is not serious , but should be taken care properly to get recovered as
- Avoid all oily , spicy , non veg stuffs, beverages
- Avoid smoking or alcohol
- No stress , anxiety anymore
- Avoid prolong fasting or over eating
- No late night parties , dinners
- Chew your food thoroughly - mostly neglected by all at 16
- Soft , light diet at regular intervals , plenty of liquids
- Keep foot end of the bed elevated for 30 degrees when doing rest or
sleep
- Certain proton pump inhibitors as prilosec cap. ( 20 ) mg morning and
evening to be taken with sips of water 1 hr before breakfast and dinner
for 2 weeks .
- Consult later doctor if required .

Hope this clears your query .
Welcome for further query .
Regards .
