HI
Well come to HCM
Thank for asking a question
your query being appreciated, of course it could be allergic condition but the symptoms of hyperacidity or the GERD can also cause the cough symptom so I would suggest to treat the GERD or hyperacidity first, and for that it is advisable to have Tab Omeprazole 40 mg with Tab Domperidone 10 mg once in day, and it needs to be taken for six weeks at evening time only, you would be fine with this and if the symptoms of cough not being improved then antihistamine can be tried like Levocetirizine 10 mg three times in day, although underlying cause of cough is matter of concern and it should be taken into consideration hope this information helps.
