What Causes Heavy Bleeding Between Periods While On Nexplanon Birth Control?
I ve been on a Nexplanon birth control for a year and a half now and when I first started I had my period for two weeks which I heard is normal then I had my period every other month until I didn t have it at all for 8months then I got it again for about 9days and then it became regular but last month I got my period two weeks early I thought maybe it was a cycle change but then 3days later I started bleeding again and then I went to see the doctor he prescribed me estradiol to help stop the bleeding and it worked after a few days but once I stopped taking the pills it came back every time so I thought this month okay I got my period again it was 7 days long I stopped bleeding for maybe a week or less and I m bleeding again now and it s heavy and I have pain in my lower abdomen maybe cramps? But I don t understand why if I already had my period? I don t know what to do
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, irregular menses is very common condition seen and this is mainly happening due to some hormone changes and it can be well managed with hormone drug it self but some time it may take little more time and initially one could see more irregularities but this is nothing to worry once you finished the course of medicine everything would be okay, hope this information helps.
