What Causes Heavy Bleeding While Passing Stools?

my nine year old daugter had solid red blood on her toilet paper yesterday after wiping. the two spots were the size of half dollors and it was bright red blood, not snot. i thought she had started her period until she told me she pooped so i bent her over and there were no signs of blood or tears. today she pooped and she had blood all in the stool . she flushed it so i didnt get to take it to the hospitol. i dont belive its just a tear. unless you can tear on the inside. the amount of blood was very alarming thoug? what should i do. and what could it be.

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Blood in stool may be due to acute fissure in ano or hemorrhods.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Give her plenty of water and high fibre diet. Avoid fast food and spicy food.

Please consult your physician/pediatrician he will examine locally and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
