What Causes Heavy Dark Red Discharge?

Hello i was diagnosed with mrsa the month of july in vuala ... i took all my medication and still have same symptoms ... i started my period on aug 17th finished on 23 of aug but very lite .. now on the 28th i started but very heavy. Bright red but stringy can i be pregnant ... my last shot depot shot was given in november of 2013

Hello,

You have history of having MRSA. You have taken the prescribed medicines. Presently, you are suffering from heavy dark red discharge. You had finished your periods on 23rd and after 5 days, you are again getting heavy bleeding. You are not on depot shots now. If you are sexually active and had unprotected sex, it may be a sign of early pregnancy.

Get pregnancy test done with the first morning mid-stream urine after a couple of days. Heavy bleeding with abdominal cramps may be indicative of early miscarriage. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a gynae, get per vaginal examination done.

You will be managed accordingly. Other medical conditions that can cause heavy dark red discharge are polyp, fibroids, PID, endometriosis, etc. Stay away from addictions if any. Take home made nutritious food and avoid doing heavy work. Get clinically assessed and treated at the earliest.
