What Causes Heavy, Fleshy Clots In Periods?

I am 51yrs old ......in July, i had light spotting of blood and brown mucus. In August, I had unprotected sex n missed my period. Now in September, It came 2 wks later than what when it would normally come ,and it is very heavy and has flesh like dark. clots

Hi,

Consult a gynaecologist and get evaluated. You have to get an ultrasound scan to look for any possible causes like endometrial thickening. As of now, you can take drugs like Tranexamic acid to control bleeding.
