What Causes Heavy Menstrual Bleeding After Removal Of Birth Control Implant?

Hi, I had no periods whilst on the implant for 3 years. I had the implant removed about 11 weeks ago.I have just had my first period and still bleeding after 10 days.I had sex on day 6 as bleeding seemed to have stopped. The day after I was bleeding again but quite heavy and i am still bleeding now on day 10. Is this normal?

Hello
If i would be your treating doctor i would suggest you to go for ultrasound.
If its normal than take
Tab Syl plus 1 tab twice a day.
As this is prescription medicine consult to gynecologist.
