What Causes Heavy Menstrual Bleeding With Clots, Cramps And Breast Pain?

I was due for my period on August 11. On August 4, I started spotting, and had spotting until Tuesday or Wed the 8th or 9th. Late Wed, it got a little brighter with a few small clots, kind of watery. Went back to light Thursday and Friday. On Saturday the 12, I started getting symptoms of a normal period, cramps, breast pain, etc. since then, it has been heavier with some clots, like my normal period. I ve always been pretty regular, I am not pregnant. But worried about why this is happening. I feel like it s never going to go away!!!!!!!

Hello,

As a first line management, you can take drugs like Tranexamic Acid to control bleeding.

If persist, better to consult a gynecologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
