What Causes Heavy Period With Long Duration With History Of Tubal Ligation?

I had a tubal 10 yrs ago after having a c-section. For the last year I have a full period every two weeks. Here recently I have had a clear stretchy mucous discharge they I ve heard is normal in ovulation but have never had this before so my concern is that I m curious if I could now get pregnant after a tubal 10 yrs ago?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome.

A tubal ligation is 'reversible', but this depends on so many factors. If you really wish to get pregnant again then you should consult a doctor who would first check your fertility status and only then advise a tubal reversal. Even after this there are a few chances for conception, so it is an elaborate process and you should be asking more questions to your doctor face to face.

Best wishes.
