What Causes Heavy Periods With A Chunk Of Meat Like Discharge?

5 ft 3in; 160; I started my period today. It is heavier and I feel much worse than normal. My last two periods were fairly light. This time when I wiped there was a discharge that looked like a chunk of meat about the size of a penny. It scared me because I've never experienced anything like that before.
