What Causes Heavy Vaginal Bleeding During Pregnancy After Taking Duphaston?
I m 5 weeks pregnant showing sac and fetal from past two days taking duphaston 10 mg twice a day due to bleeding. Today the bleeding is heavy like I have my normal periods. I need a dnc to be done or I should just stay calm without any procedure assuming this bleeding itself will clean the sac and etc from my uterus. ..?
Hello dear I understand your concern Heavy bleeding during 5 week pregnancy is not normal. It is a sign of miscarriage. I would suggest to consult the gynecologist and undergo vaginal examination, USG scan. Reaming product can be treated by misoprostol or D & C depending upon status. Antibiotic should be taken to prevent the infection. Maintain proper pelvic hygiene, drink lots of fluid, take healthy diet and proper rest. Hope this may help you
