What Causes Heavy Vaginal Bleeding While On Nexplanon?

I have a question but i need to add some back ground info to start. I am on nexplanon and i have been for almost to the 3 year mark. its about 7 months away. I am over weight for my hight by 30 ish pounds. aproximately a month ago i went to the emergency room for extreme cramping and heavy bleeding that i had only experenced during two births and one miscarriage. I was told that it was normal for when the nexplanon started to wear off i just needed to be careful when it came to sex until i was able to get the next one. before going on the nexplanon i had a 30- 35 day cycle hence the choice to go to nexplanon. and its been about 26 days since i went to the er. the other night in a tipsy stupid moment i had unprotected sex. How likely am i to get pregnant at this point?

Hi,

Vaginal bleeding while on Nexplanon is a hormonal alteration of some issue.I cannot predict any of the pregnancy possibilities with Nexplanon, unless it was taken out for any particular time period in between. This may be a breach in the coverage against pregnancy.
