What Causes Heavy Weight Feeling In Upper Abdomen?

normally when i sit or left hand move up and down when i like heavy weight feeling the upper abdominal, no pain or when we press abdominal there is nothing to see. I have gone through the sonography, ecg, blood test, etc. there is nothing wrong. Doctor said that GERD. what is gerd.
