What Causes High Amount Of Fat Globules In Stool?

hi doc..i examined stool of my 3 yr old son.. the result of stool exam has many fat globules.. he is drinking powder milk which is pedia sure..shall i stop giving him a milk? and what food will i give it to him? can you give me a name of medicine if it is needed..thank you

Hello,

Until stool examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

It may lactose intolerance or malabsorption or food intolerance etc..

If you think a problem with powder milk then change to packet milk and see.

Get it done stool fat level, pH and reducing capacity.

Consult your pediatrician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
