What Causes High Fever,back Ache,diarrhea With Mucus Discharge?

I spent a month in Haiti. 4 days after getting back I thought i caught a cold. I am running 100.9 temp and my back aches around my kidneys. Today I don't feel like eating. I haven't had diarrhea but I had a mucus like substance in my stool. Could it be malaria?

Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a gastrointestinal infection. I suggest doing:
-A complete blood count.
-A stool test to confirm the diagnosis. 
Meanwhile, take probiotic to relief the symptoms.
