What Causes High Pus Cells In Urine?

Good day Doc, my 7 years old daughter just got this urinalysis results: color yellow,transparency slightly turbid, reaction 6.0, SP gravity 1.010,albumin+, pus cells 10-15/hpf, RBC 2-3,Epethelial cells few, bacteria few, mucus threads++ and amurates+. What does it mean? Thank you very much.

I am dr.Endri Katro and I will be answering at your questions.

The urinalysis of your daughter shows signs of Urinary tract infection. The presence of pus cells,and the bacteria confirm it for sure.Also this urine test is not normal and your daughter need to start antibiotics as soon as possible.
I suggest you check up with your family doctor to start the antibiotic therapy.

Meanwhile give her plenty of fluids,fresh fruits and vegetables.
