What Causes Hip And Thigh Pain After Administering Lupron Injection?

My brother got a Lupron Injection this morning about 11:30 eastern standard time today and is having severe pain in his hip and thigh. Is this normal or should I take him to the ER? It is now 11:10 p.m. Is this one of the side effects and about how long will this last.

Hello,

Muscle pain and body pain are the side effects of the Lupron injection.
You may use tablet Tramadol twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved, please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
