What Causes Hot Flashes After The Extraction Of Tooth?
I get hot flashes now after I got some teelth pulled. it is more of like a fever hot. I will get so hot I have to have some fan blowing on me to keep me cool at all times. I am 48 years old and over weight. I am on alot of meds. Please tell me what you think maybe wrong with these hot flashes
Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query. The fever could be because of the inflammation. In some patients fever might come following extraction of the teeth(if it is removed surgically). Nothing to worry, you can take a course of antibiotics and analgesics like amoxicillin 500mg and metronidazole 400mg tid for 5 days (if you are not allergic). You can also take analgesic and antipyretic like tablet flexon(ibuprofen and paracetamol). I hope my answer will help you, take care.
