What Causes Hot Flashes, Headaches And Soreness In The Arms?

Hello,
In the last month I have developed hot flashes, 60 yr. old woman, having NEVER experienced them during menopause, I sleep an average of 4 hours, headaches, elbows are sore and arms are weak AND I am obese.
I know something is wrong. Any ideas, Doctor?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Hormone changes is much likely and it is the temporary condition, no need to worry about this only thing is it should not be happens on and often or continue to happens if this is so then endocrine dysfunction need to be ruled out, thyroid dysfunction may be the cause, for the nonspecific symptoms no need to give any medicine but wait and watch is the option.

Hope I have answered your query, Let me know for further assistance.
