Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 45yo male. I have low T (191) but has been as low as 161. I have had pit. MRI (-), LH, FSH, estradiol, prolactin, TSH, everything checked and everything comeback normal. No MD ordered a US but I wanted one so got it done everything normal except minimal hydrocele. Do You have any ideas as what may be the prob. I am healthy 6 5 250, work out 4-5 times a week although my workouts are what Im used to. Had this prob since 2012.
I am not aware why all these investigations were ordered. Hydrocele usually happens from impaired absorption of fluid around the testes, although rarely can happen from obstruction to venous or lymphatic drainage. Anyhow, small asymptomatic hydrocele does not require treatment, and can be left alone.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
