What Causes Immobility In Leg After High Fever?

85 YR OLD Father had 103.4 fever and stayed high until 4 am. after sleeping he was unable to use his left leg. had some vomiting. but no fever or any leg problems since 10 am this morning. does need a knee replacement and has had a hip replaced same side. Has an Athletes heart and was taken off Atenole a few months back.

No need of joint replacement. .it is due to muscle weakness due to jigh fever..or sudden dicrease in potasdium or calcium levels or becuse of dicrease in sugar levels..do tests like rbs, serum potssium and calcium..hope i am help ful
