hi doc, i am a female 23 years of age... about a month ago i suffered on left upper abdominal pain when my menstruation supposed to start.. we go to the hospital, and asked me to go urine test.. the pus cell was 04-/hpf... she told that i have UTI now she prescribed an antibiotic... after a month when my menstruation also supposed to start, i felt the same, and she asked me again to have a urine test, then the counts of pus cell became 6-10... then she prescribed another antibiotic... will take it for 7 days.... then after 7 days, we were advised to have ultrasound to see if there was a stone. but the result said that i they didn t saw a stone but i have a mild urolithiasis...and i also go urine test and the result of pus cells became higher which 16-20/hpf...the she prescribed me for the third time, an antibiotic of cefuroxime and also sambong capsule relief... then yesterday i go urine test again after took cefuroxime for 7 days... the result of the pus cells count became much higher to 25-30/hpf... i was thinking and asking why the pus cells count getting higher while im taking the prescribed medicine... can you help me why.... :( :(
