What Causes Increased Appetite And Lose Of Weight?

I am a 48 year old woman, and i know I am in premenopause. At this stage in life is it normal to get more hungry than usual, and is it because my metobolism is slowing down? I cant lose weight like I could when I was younger. I weigh 155 pounds and Im a lot of trouble losing just 20 more pounds.

Well come to HCM
Thank for asking
Your query being appreciated, to have some functional elements during menopause or in pre-menopause but that does not cause getting hungry or loosing the weight even if this is so then it is very less likely and it this condition no need to worry, if this is the loosing of weight then it may not be due to hormone changes, but it menopause putting on weight is likely condition, loss of weight could be due to some systemic disease and that need to be ruled out, hope this information helps.
