What Causes Increased Appetite Level To A 1 Year Old?

My granddaughter will be 1 in nov. She seems to never get enough to eat. She is up crying 3 -4 times a night. Even when she is feed- it never seems to help or be enough. I have heard there can be a problem with children whom seems to want to eat all the time. She is not over weight at all! What do you think?

hello,
please don't prevent her from food, its a sign of health.
but get her thyroid function tests and stool test done for hyperthyroidism and parasite infestation.
also a cbc to exclude anemia
