What Causes Increased Heart Rate?

36 yr old male recently diagnosed with hypertension, angina, and a high itel hernia, not spelling right but my resting heart rate has recently increased. it is running between 90 & 98 and its highest today was 106 is this normal or should i be worried

Your heart rate values are a little high, but this could be related to physical or emotional stress.

But, considering your past medical history, I would recommend checking thyroid hormone levels to exclude a possible thyroid dysfunction.

Hiatal hernia can play an important role in your increased heart rate too.
