What Causes Indentation From Middle Of Head To Skull?

As i was sitting on computer and ran my fingers through my hair i noticed an indention about 1/4 iinch thick and maybe 2 to 4 inches long just past the middle of my head right along the top running from front to back of my skull i have no symptoms or anything else.

I read your question and understand your concern.

In my opinion this indentation may be since childhood after ossification of the head bones.
It is normal in many persons to have some imperfections on the head surface.

If you have never had this before, I would recommend to have some tests like a brain CT scan and calcium and Vit D plasma levels to determine the cause.
