What Causes Indentation In Head And Memory Loss After Head Injury?

About 2 years ago or so, I fell backwards onto a cement wall and hit my head extremely hard. Now I have memory loss, weird eye shakings, behavior symptoms, pressure inside my head, and a weird dent line in the middle of my head(horizontally) it goes all the way across and a hole(dent) in the middle. Should I go get it checked out?

Neurologist 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You are best advised to seek the services of a neurologist in order to do a complete neurological evaluation following what may be a traumatic head injury (TBI) or possibly not. The doctor will figure that out. Weird eye shaking may be Nystagmus which may subside and go to normal over the course of weeks or months. The "dent line" was not caused by the fall (guaranteed). You should see a neurologist or urgent care doctor with these symptoms to be evaluated for possible TBI.

I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time.
