What Causes Indentations On Both The Thighs?

I have large indentations on both my thighs and don t know what s causing this. Each thigh has one large dent on the hip area, and I originally thought it was from where I was leaning into the counter top. However, the dents (which feel like they are right under the widest part of my hips on the bone) have appeared in the last couple weeks and are always there. I haven t lost weight, am a size 4 or 6, and already work out moderately. Any ideas?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
The place where you describe your dents are sights of attachment of muscles to the Great Trochanter of the Femoral bone.It is present in almost all people who are not obese.Assuming you to be a size 4-6, it is probably nothing unless there is an element of pain associated when you can contact a nearby physician.
