What Causes Indigestion And Burning Sensation In The Mouth?

I have had really bad indigestion the last couple of days with a burning sensation in my mouth. I am on dexalant which takes care of my reflux but the indigestion has been really bad. I am leaving the country tomorrow. Is there something stronger than tums I can take. I have been under a lot of stress lately also.

As you mentioned you have problem of burning sensation in mouth that may be because of acid reflux.
Gastroesophageal reflux problem also lead to this type of symptoms.
Acid suppression drugs helpful in GERD.
Avoid spicy food and alcohol drinking.
Avoid citrus foods, coffee and chocolate..
Eat small amount of meal and chew properly.
Avoid immeadiate lying down after meal.
Elevate your head during sleeping time.
Consult a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis and treatment.
