What Causes Indigestion, Vomiting, Diarrhea And Pale Stools While Treating Multiple Myeloma?
I have multiple myeloma and on my third cycle of treatment. A couple of days ago, I had a stomach upset and vomited after a night of upset stomach. I had a bout of diarrhoea which was very light in colour and now My stools are very light in colour. What should I do ?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have indigestion, vomiting, diarrhea, and light-colored stool while treating multiple myeloma. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like food poisoning, gastroenteritis, GERD, irritable bowel syndrome, lactose intolerance or side effects of some medicine. It seems to me that the symptoms are probably due to side effect of certain medicine.
I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination. Doctor may order certain tests like stool test and take history to rule out side effect of medicine. For now take proper rest, eat light, and take antacid after every meal.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
