What Causes Ineffectiveness Of Sandomigran Tablet?

Hi I was using sandomigran for few years and notice I start to increase dosage from 1 tablet per day to 5 per day. When I had severe migran I used maxalt. Recently I decided to stop to use all this tablets as I did not have good effect any more and bough Feverfew capsules. Can anybody suggest why Sandamigran stopped helping me ?

hi there! Sandomigran tables is that is used to PREVENT migraine attacks, it does not work if you took the drug during migraine attack. the starting dose is once daily (0.5mg) at bedtime and increases in dosing to 3x daily with a maximum dose of 1.5gms/ day. the maximum effect of this drug will be at 4 weeks. take the drug as prescribed because if you took it without consulting your physician it has a REBOUND effect. instead to preventing migraine, it will cause you migraine. please follow-up with your internist.
