What Causes Inflammation In The Face And Neck Along With Elevated BP?

Hi,A few hours ago I noticed that I had a red cheek and then a flushed, hot face and neck. Every so often during the past few week I've had elevated BP. Today 144/89. I am a 52 year old male. 6'3", 205. No health problems, except stiff neck and crushed L4/L5. I am drinking a lot of water to bring BP down, but I face feels very hot.

Hello,

Possible causes for face flushing is andro or menopause or sinusitis or pharyngitis or allergic reaction or a hyperthyroidism or a cluster headache or autonomic hyperreflexia etc.

Avoid high salt intake, do regular exercise, weight reduction, avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks.

If blood pressure not improved please consult your physician he will examine and treat you with alternative medicine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
