What Causes Inner Ear Infection And Dizziness While On Tussin?

Hi, For the past 4 days, the tail end of a cold, i have been experiencing a feeling of breif flickers of losing milliseconds, my Mvp flutters or lightness of heart and my gerd fluxes. I wonder about inner ear infection, vertigo or Tussin side effect. I am also starting my 3rd week of weening off a 6 month stint of Deluxitine. This process has actually been ok. But I know that it had interactions with many medicines and supplements. So I am trying to just balance myself. The time slips and dizziness, getting over this summer chest cold, and regulating my Gerd with Mvp. Suggestions and advice would be much appreciated.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Any illness can affect the heart rate so if you do have vertigo (sensation of yourself or the room spinning) which is most commonly due to condition of the inner ear, then it can cause changes in your heart rate.

It would not affect your GERD either.

If the symptoms continue, it would be best to see your doctor for an assessment.

I hope this helps
