What Causes Intense Abdominal Pain And Diarrhea After Discontinuing Anti-depressant?
i recently got off an anti-deprassant. i have been on one for about 5 years. with a dr s help, i slowly came off of this last one. about a week later, i am having intense gut/abdominal pain. i haven t been constipated, and have experienced diarrhea. could this be related? is my body going through a detox of sorts? thanks

Regarding your symptoms of severe abdominal pain diarrhoea following after discontinued anti-depressant drug I am suggesting that you have developed a gastritis which is one of the side effects of this medication
In view of this please see a gastroenterologist specialist for further clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription
Meanwhile please take the following
Tablet antacids
Tablet Antispasmodic
