Hello,

Hunger pain waking up you in the night is indicative of severe acidity that cause gastritis and/or esophagitis or duodenitis and may be a pre-existing ulceration.

Hence I would advise you the following in such a condition:
-Consult a Gastroenterologist for clinical evaluation.
-Upper GI Endoscopy.
-Ph studies of stomach.
-Tests of stool and blood.
-Get started on a PPI like Omeprazole.
-Antacids when on empty stomach.
-Domperidone.
-Soft bland diet.
-Control of stress and anxiety.

All these will help you get better very soon. Avoid all the instigating factors.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant
