What Causes Intermittent Belly Button Pain?

I am a 62 year old postmenopausal woman. I am having intermittent twinges of pain in my belly button. I recently had a ctscan of my abdomen and pelvic area which was clear of any problems. I am being treated for a viral infection in my lower abdomen. What could be causing the pain?
