What Causes Intermittent Fluttering Sensation In Breast?

I am a 73 year old woman. I am experiencing a very light flutter in my right breast on the right side of the right breast.. It comes and goes. I can not figure it out. It has been going on for about2 days. No shortness of breath. No other symptoms. No head ache, eating well, swam today, exercised yesterday. Same level of flutter. Could it be the beginning of a cyst growing? I am particularly aware of my body symptoms. But, this is confusing.

Hello,
You describe the flutter sensation as being on the side of your breast. Being that it is on your right side, I don't think it is from your heart. Most likely it is a fatigued muscle underneath the breast that is twitching, possibly from exercise that used your arm in an extended position. Cysts usually do not cause symptoms like this. It is always a good idea to do a breast self exam and feel for any lumps though. If you continue to have unusual sensations in your breast, do go to your doctor and have it checked out. Best wishes to you and I hope this helped.
