What Causes Intermittent Pain In The Abdomen?

So I m not sure how long I ve been like this for, but I know something is wrong with my stomach. I get stomache s a lot, and quite frequently too. Sometimes I can go weeks without them or I could have 2-5 in a week. Some are mild, others make me feel like I really need to go to the hospital. I had one of the I-need-to-get-to-the-hospital ones earlier tonight but it normally settles a bit after I take Pepto Bismol, then a bit after i have diarrhea. I can still feel like there s something wrong deep down, like I m not 100% well but I don t have shooting pain or anything.I notice the pain is in different spots sometimes too. I notice that I also get the pains/aches after certain foods, these have been on and off for the past 8 days straight. What do you think would be the problem, would it be better to go to the clinic or hospital (or both?) and what should I expect the doctor to do?

Hello,

Intermittent pain in the abdomen may be due to gastritis or irritable bowel syndrome or food intolerance or malabsorption syndromes or inflammatory bowel problems or fatty liver disease or celiac disease etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. Use tablet Normaxin twice a day for five days.

Avoid gluten and lactose contain food. If symptoms not improved please consult your gastroenterologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
