What Causes Intermittent Pain In The Right Arm And Shoulder?

I have intermittant aches and pains in my right arm and shoulder. The discomfort moves up and down in no discernible pattern and is often most discomforting at night. There has been no trauma or injury. The pain can best be described as the ache experienced when bump your crazy bone .

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Intermittent pain in the right arm may be due to arthritis of the shoulder joint or rotator cuff injury or muscle spasm or fibromyalgia etc. Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is. Please get an X-ray of the shoulder joint, clinical examination of blood sugar and neck X-ray.

Use cold and warm compression, use tablet Pantaprazol before breakfast for one week. Use tablet Zanaflex once a day for five days. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query.
Regards,
