What Causes Intermittent Swelling In The Ankles Ans Sleeplessness?

My ankles and the tops of my feet are swollen on and off...just like when I was pregnant over 16 years ago...no way I am now...seems to be better after laying down and/or sleeping for several hours overnight and even during the day...as it is, I do not sleep much or even get good sleep when I do...not enough down time...too much on my mind...not sure what to do?

Hello i have read your query and feel that you have dependent oedema in your feet which could be due to-
1-Long standing hours
2-increased salt intake
3-Excessive walking or exercise
4-using high heels or tight footwear.

I suggest you-
1-Decrease your salt intake
2-rest your legs avoid standing for long hours at a stretch.
3-elevate your legs if you are sitting on a chair by using a footrest .
4-try reducing your weight if you are overweight
5-Use flat comfortable shoes for walking.
