What Causes Irregular Dark Vaginal Spotting And Cramps?

Hi im 43 yrs old this is the first time i dont get my period but i get alot of cramps like if im going to get one...just a fews days ago i started spotting and having like dark discharge with a little red what could be happening im so scared could it be that im going thru the menopause ????

Hello,

It can be a nonspecific perimenopausal symptom. As of now you can take analgesics like mefenemic acid for pain relief. If symptoms persists you can consult a gynaecologist and plan for an ultrasound scan.
